If you have every watched HGTV there is a show called "While you were OUT". Basically while the home owner is away people come in and surprise decorate the house. We wanted to do this for our dear friend but decided it would be better to have her in our the planning so we did what she really wanted. So we did our version of 'while you were IN'. We rounded up a few people to help us and after one Saturday morning we were able to paint the kitchen, living room and laundry area. Fix the garbage disposal and garage door. Install a new screen door that is dog friendly, and hang window treatments.
