Countdown to Valentine's Day

I thought it would be fun to start a countdown with the kids. So I got a little mailbox for $1 and everyday inside is going to be a reason why Mom and Dad love them, as well as an activity on how we can show others how we love them.

# 14--I saw this idea on Pinterest and so today's reason we love them is :
"MOM AND DAD LOVE IT WHEN YOU SING SO WE WANTED TO GIVE YOU THIS RING!" When Gordon gets home from school we are going to make some rings of our own and give them to those we love :)



#13--For today the note said, "Mom and Dad love that you always try to Choose the "write" (Right) :) . On the back it says 'use your pencil to write a nice note to someone to let them know you love them'.


#12--This morning the kids found a note that said, "MOM AND DAD LOVE IT WHEN YOU 'SCOOBY-DOO' YOUR CHORES!" And on the other side it said, "Today do a chore for a sibling to show them that you love them."



# 11--Today the kids got to watch a movie. The note said, "Mom and Dad love you so much that we got 'A Valentine for You'. Today you get to watch this movie with Winnie the Pooh." And on the back it says, "Today to show someone you love them we are going to make Valentine cards.


#10- Today the note said, "Mom and Dad love it when you SHARE! Here is some cotton candy for you to share with each other. " On the other side, "Today choose something of yours to share with someone else to show them that you love them."


#9- Today it said, "Mom and Dad love you because you are sweet like CHOCOLATE". Today let's show someone we love them by making cookies and delivering them.
