We always are looking for chances to get to Grandma and Grandpa Nielsen's house and this time while we were there the kids asked if we could go to the beach...so we packed up the car and off we went. It was a perfect day. I love the beach so much! I miss being so close! But such a treat that we get to go when we visit Grandma and Grandpa. Henry did eat his share of sand...but they all seem to and figure out pretty quickly that it is not as good as they thought it would be.
Digging in the sand is always a top pick of everyone. Hours and hours of digging and building in the sand.
These girls loved getting in the water. They even took buckets and would dump it on their heads.
We just wish Daddy could have been there with us....then it would have be absolutely perfect!! (you notice that Gordon has the boogie board hooked to him...it was like that the WHOLE time we were there. We waited for him to ride a wave in to get this picture and then he was out again. He is such a fish! He is getting pretty good at riding the waves in too :)
