We
were in California at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Gordon's actual
birthday. Grandma is the best and made Gordon a donut breakfast cake ;)
(which he LOVED)
Then we went for a little swim....in March, it was a little cool...but this kid is an artic fish, he doesn't mind.
Then this cake rounded out the day! It was a fun and memorable day! :)
When
we got home from Grandma and Grandpa's we gave Gordon his gifts. One of
which was this apron. It says "Master Chef in Training". Gordon has
really enjoyed watching the show Master Chef Junior and ever since he
has wanted and asked to cook a steak. He even drew in his notebook how
he wanted to plate his dish. So as you could guess another gift he received was a raw steak of his very own. He cooked it along with some
sides and sauces. He was in chef heaven ;) Happy birthday our wonderful
little boy (well he is not so little anymore...but will always be to
me).
