Gordon turns 7!!

 Gordon chose "Minute to Win It" as his party theme. For those that don't know, it is a game show where you use every day items in various games/challenges. And you have a minute to complete the task. It was such a fun time! I am so sad that I TOTALLY forgot to take pictures!!! I want a redo so badly! We did take video. Luckily my father-in-law snapped a few shots with his iphone. Thanks Grandpa!!!

Here is Gordon opening up gifts. Taylor had the idea to have him on the counter so that all the kids could see....because we all know that when kids open gifts it is hard for the kids watching to stay seated and then others can't see...this way everyone was able to see with no problem. And Gordon was loving it. :)

 Here are a few of the decorations that I snapped a picture of last night before I took things down. We had the lap top hooked up to the tv so before each game we would show the kids the directions to each game. And then it also had the countdown clock with stressful music playing while the kids tried to have a minute to win it.

The games we played:--these are the names of the games the website uses, not my choice--
"Suck it up"- Using a straw they had to suck up skittles and move several feet and put it in a cup. However many they were able to get in a minute was how many they were able to eat ;)
"This Blows"- Using the air from a balloon they blew up they needed to knock over plastic cups.
"Yank Me"- Stacking plastic cups with index cards inbetween to make a tower. Then they needed to yank out the cards to have the cups fall into each other into one stack.
"The Nutstacker"- Using metal nuts they had to make a tower while sliding them off of a stick only using one hand.
"Noodling Around"- with a spaghetti noodle in their mouth they had to pick up tube noodles off of the table without using their hands.
"Seperation Anxiety"- They needed to seperate 25 diffferent colored bears into color groups using only one hand.
"Breakfast Scramble"- Put together a puzzle of 16 pieces all the same shape from a cereal box.
"Face the Cookie"- You place a cookie on your forehead and using only the muscles in your face (no hands) you need to get the cookie into your mouth. ----Gordon actually was able to do this one. I was very impressed! He is such a gamer!

 This seven year old is such a sweet boy! I love him so much. Happy birthday Gordon Boy!
