Home for the Holidays
This Christmas we were able to be in California with Laura's family. The great thing was that everyone was there, all of the siblings and the kiddos! It was great to have the whole fam together. Great memories! It was a blast to see all of the cousins interact…and to finally get to meet our wonderful Evan! It is when everyone is home for the holidays that you really get a glimpse into what eternal families are all about.
Milestones
Gordon has reached many milestones in the last few months. He was army crawling at Christmas time and shortly after "real" crawling. Now he walks along furniture like a pro, can stand on his own and has even tempted to take a few steps solo. But no speed walker yet. He also is currently working on getting three new teeth…which will make the total 11. With Gordon and teeth, "when it rains it pours". We clebrated Gordon's 1st Birthday last month. He is becoming a toddler right before our eyes and we are loving every minute of it!
In the Valley of the Sun
For the past 5 months we have been in Tempe, Arizona where Taylor was working for his Dad's law firm. I was able to stay at home with Gordon and Mama Earl. It was a blast! I loved every minute we had there, it was hard for me to leave. Who doesn't love being able to wear Capri's in the winter!?!
In NC again
We are back in North Carolina for the next 4 months until law school begins in August. (location is 
still to be determined…we will keep you posted) The trek out this time was much quicker. Taylor and I drove solo (without the little one). Grandma and Grandpa Earl are so kind, they flew out here with Gordon so it would be easier for him….and to be honest, easier for us! It worked out perfect and we are so grateful for their love and service to us.
